Bucket list roles like Atticus Finch and Scout from Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird” don’t come along every day, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be prepared for the day they do!

This month, The Laboratory Theatre education department’s FREE program for high school students, Scripts Uncensored, will be reading “To Kill a Mockingbird.” This controversial work by Harper Lee has been the target for several organizations to have removed from the shelves, even though it was required reading for generations.

**Register today, and grab your seat to read for Atticus, Scout, Jem, Boo Radley, or one of the other wonderfully written characters from Harper Lee’s beloved classic. Or join us for the post-read discussion that includes some dramaturgy and reflection on what makes this play so dangerous to young minds that people want it removed from the shelves.
