Join concerned citizens and event organizers like Sierra Club, Keep Lee County Beautiful, Fort Myers Beach Marine Resources Task Force, and Citizens Climate Lobby in Fort Myers Beach just north of the Pier in front of Times Square Park. We will draw a literal and figurative line in the sand to tell our elected officials that our coastline is not for sale!

Hands Across the Sand is a fun, peaceful rally for clean water and renewable energy in Southwest Florida. We will be making a clear ask to elected officials and government agencies to permanently protect our coasts from offshore drilling. This event will be free for the public to attend. There will be a beach cleanup after we are finished holding hands.
